You have just downloaded StripAmp 1.0, from PK Industries. StripAmp is a remote control Control Strip Module(CSM) for MacAmp, for use in your Control Strip. StripAmp can power up MacAmp and Play/Pause, Forward, Back, or Stop a track, all by clicking the equivalent buttons on its CSM. There is a 14 day trial period, after which we hope you register. If you do not register, please tell us why.
• System Requirements
-Control Strip or Extensions Strip
-MacAmp 1.0b4 or later(Requiring a PPC)
• Installation/Removal
-To use StripAmp with Control Strip, simply place it in the Control Strip Modules folder inside your System Folder and restart. StripAmp can also be dynamically loaded by simply dragging it onto the Control Strip. To use with Extensions Strip, place the module inside the Root Module Folder or dynamically load it by dragging onto the Strip.
-Removing StripAmp is simple as well. You can remove StripAmp by taking it out of the Control Strip Modules folder(Root Module Folder in Extensions Strip) and restarting. It can be dynamically removed by option-clicking the module in the strip and dragging it to the Trash.
-Action GoMac users should use 'Install Module' menu
-We have isolated and corrected the bug that caused crashes and hangs when StripAmp was used with Extensions Strip. This version should correct any problems you may have had. Additionally, all copies of StripAmp prior to 1.0b3, including 1.0b1, 1.0b2 and 0.0dx should be discontinued from use, as they contain a rather dangerous bug, due to a lack of proper memory tests. This bug can cause crashes and hangs when StripAmp is quit(This can occur when Control Strip is quit by an installer, or unexpectedly). Although this may seem like simply a marketing strategy to get you to stop using your freeware developmental copy of StripAmp, these bug do exist, and we cannot be held responsible if problems occur.
-You can cause the StripAmp pop-up to appear by clicking and holding anywhere on the StripAmp module.
-You can load a playlist as you power up MacAmp from the StripAmp pop-up. When the pop-up appears, move the mouse over the playlist you'd like to select, and let go. This will power up MacAmp, load your selected playlist and begin to play.
-You can also control MacAmp from within the StripAmp pop-up, just as you would with the StripAmp buttons. You can Play/Pause, Forward, Back, or Stop a track from within the pop-up. Last, you can bring MacAmp to the front from within any application using the pop-up and clicking on "Bring MacAmp to front".
-Registered users of beta should reenter their Registration Info.
